“1^st generation” resident identity cards are prohibited for use effective 1^st january 2013, in accordance with the regulations in resident identity card law of the people’s republic of china amended in 2011. spfmc demanded that the “2^nd generation” resident identity card must be provided for hpf services of the municipality and “1^st generation” resident identity card prohibited for use from 1^st january 2013.
