I had so much fun remodeling this guest bathroom. It was very outdated and dull. I went with a fun, modern look by using patterned floor tile and all the gold accents 😍

Everyone’s postpartum Journey is unique. As a first time mom I wish I knew what I know now. I find it interesting that no one really talks about postpartum and what that looks like. Maybe because its too personal? Intimate? Maybe because they don’t want to scare expecting moms?

These questions are what inspired today’s blog post; aiming to be a resource to all my fellow moms. I talk all about postpartum essentials that aide in your recovery as well as breastfeeding products that have helped me.

I liked that the story is told from the perspective of different characters.

I didn’t know it at the time but….

At a young age my mom had established a morning routine for us.
✨We woke up
✨Got ready for school
✨Ate breakfast
✨Read our Bible
✨ Prayed before we left for school.
Our routine was non-negotiable and I appreciate it now more than I did back then.

As an adult, I crave this routine. But every time I establish a routine, something happens to shake it. Last year—it was the pandemic, this year—its having a baby, in a few months—it’ll be returning to work. My “routine” is always changing.

But in this season of life, I am learning to embrace the change. I am learning to cultivate new habits.

Baby experienced his first pumpkin picking 🎃 The hayride was quiet the experience, not just for us but for everyone on the ride 😳 Nap time was interrupted and well…we paid for it 😂

But, we powered through and enjoyed the petting zoo & of course, the market with all its delicious baked goods 🤤

If there is one habit I learned during the pandemic, it’s to get up and get ready for the day even if I’m staying home. It’s as simple as getting out of my oversized Pj’s and into something comfortable followed by skincare routine and a no makeup, make-up look. Doing so has made me feel:
