No matter how long you’ve been in a relationship, date nights are vital! Setting one-on-one time for you and your spouse is very important in nourishing your relationship. You may think, why have dates? we are together all the time. We see each other everyday. Talk to one another. Eat with each other. That’s all wonderful but not the same as date nights. We can easily get caught up in the mundane routine and tasks that come with our day to day life. This is why dedicating a special time for you and your significant other to enjoy one another’s’ company is important.
Here’s a tip that a relationship therapist shared; when you go on dates make it a point to NOT talk about work or your kids (if you have any). That’s it! It’s a simple but such an excellent tip. Think about it, what do you and your spouse talk about the most? Probably work and all the things that pertain to your children. Do you ever take the time to consciously talk about your dreams, your hobbies, what internal battles you’re trying to fight? what makes you happy? What makes you sad? What do you hope to accomplish this month? this week?

So, to take the guess work out for you, I was inspired by Valentine’s day to write today’s blog post. I share with you 52 fun things to do on a date night.
